One of my very favourite albums from Genesis. A storied work full of surprise entanglement, bittersweet acceptance and relentless courage to find the way back home.

This image is wrought with shadows and curiosity - woman and beast - biding their time to analyze and focus amongst the creeping blackness of night. I would welcome his kick to send me back, towards home, but his gaze kept me there. Entangled in what seemed like an eternity in the dusty sand on the edge of the monstrous pines. We accepted eachother here, on the outskirts of our comfort. It was only with a trick of the tail that he disappeared, forever imprinted in frame. Enchanting the molten cracks of my heart.
